Rotary is a worldwide
organization of approximately 1.2 million business and
professional leaders who provide humanitarian service,
encourage high ethical standards, and build goodwill and
peace. Muncie Sunrise Rotary is one of more than 32,000
Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and territories.
Founded in 1996, our 115-member club has a proud history
of service to youth, the Muncie community, the state of
Indiana, and worldwide education and humanitarian
service programs of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary
International.
Rotary promotes cultural understanding though exchanges
such as youth exchange and group study exchanges with
other countries. Our club has "hands on" community
programs that benefit youth and other people in need
directly and through other local agencies.
We meet weekly on Friday at 7:00 to 8:00 AM--for
breakfast, fellowship, and a guest speaker at the
historic the Cornerstone Community Building located at
520 E. Main. Our annual major fundraisers for
charity—our annual wine dinner with silent and live
auctions and Oktoberfest event that in some years is
